Dr Nader Fahimi

Nader Fahimi, M.D. is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and he has a Certification of Added Qualifications in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. Dr. Fahimi is a member of American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America and New Jersey Orthopaedic Society.


Nader Fahimi, M.D. specializes in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Treatment of sport related injuries of the Shoulder, Hip, Knee and Ankle. He has an extensive experience in Arthroscopic Shoulder Surgery, including new Arthroscopic Reconstruction of Large Rotator Cuff Tears, Arthroscopic Repair of Biceps and Labrum Tears and Arthroscopic Treatment of Shoulder Arthritis. Dr. Fahimi also specializes in Comprehensive Shoulder Surgery, including Shoulder Hemiarthroplasty (partial shoulder replacement), Total Shoulder Replacement, Reverse Total Shoulder Arthroplasty, and treatment of complicated proximal humerus and humeral head fractures. Additionally, Dr. Fahimi specializes in minimally invasive Joint Replacement Surgeries.




Dr Kumar Sinha

Dr. Sinha is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with advanced training in spinal surgery, correction of spinal deformities and minimal invasive surgical techniques.


He graduated with high honors from Rutgers University with a bachelors degree in electrical and computer engineering. He received his Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He went on to completing his orthopaedic surgery residency training at Seton Hall University/St. Joseph’s Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident. He completed a rigorous fellowship in spine surgery at University of Miami and received advanced training in pediatric scoliosis surgery at Miami Children’s Hospital.


Combined with his compassion to help his patients, knowledge and technical expertise, Dr. Sinha is dedicated to providing the most advanced
and compassionate treatment for his patients. He firmly believes in listening to his patients and taking the time to identifying the exact cause of the problem. It is of utmost importance to Dr. Sinha that the patient fully understand their condition and the treatment options available. His primary goal is to decrease pain and return patients to optimal function and an improved quality of life.




Dr Michael Umanoff

Michael Umanoff, MD, is the Director of Pain Management at Total Pain Care. Dr. Umanoff earned his medical degree and did his residencies in both surgery and anesthesiology. He joined the staff of St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in 1989 and established the Pain Center. He is board-certified in both anesthesiology and pain management. Dr. Umanoff specializes in painful disorders of the spine, complex regional pain syndrome and sports related injuries. He has initiated the use of advanced interventional techniques for the successful
treatment of these and other conditions.



Dr Pamela D'Amato

Dr. D’Amato is a Fellowship Trained and Board Certified Interventional Pain Management physician.


Dr. D’Amato received her Medical Degree at Saba University School of Medicine. She completed her medical training in the specialty of Anesthesiology at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. D’Amato continued her medical education in the field of Interventional Pain Management at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. D’Amato is certified in Anesthesia and Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. D’Amato is trained in treating all types of pain symptoms by utilizing all aspects of interventional pain management.  Dr. D’Amato’s is an active member of the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.


Dr. D’Amato is enthusiastic about the opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients and to give back to the community. Dr. D’Amato’s goal is to provide compassionate, comprehensive, and innovative care to her patients in order for them to achieve a more enjoyable, and productive life.





Dr Eugene Batelli

Dr. Batelli, who grew up in Totowa, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery where he is double board certified in Foot Surgery, and the prestigious Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Fellow of the American College of Lower Extremity Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association.


Dr. Batelli actively treats high end athletes in high school, Division I college, and participants in the NYC and Boston marathons.  He is also a lecturer and instructor on the latest surgical techniques.  The office is complete




with all the latest technologies such as cold laser and extra corporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT).  Dr Batelli has advanced surgical training in total ankle replacements from Tornier (Salto Talaris), Small Bone Innovations (STAR), Zimmer (Trabecular Metal Total Ankle) and Wright Medical (In-Bone, Infinity and Prophecy).  He is also on the product development board for Trilliant Surgical, Ltd.

Dr Eric Freeman

Since the completion of his fellowship and until today, Dr. Freeman continues to strive to be at the forefront for the treatment all spine and pain disorders. He attends as well as conducts numerous seminars in the field of Interventional Pain Management and Minimally-Invasive Spine Techniques.


Dr. Freeman's passion for providing the most advanced medical and interventional pain technologies has made him well recognized in the field of pain management being listed as one of "America's Top Physicians". He often is involved in the education of other physicians performing lectures and publishing textbook chapters for board certification testing. His goal and primary focus is to obtain the results that you deserve, that is, to eliminate your pain without surgery. Dr Urma Parvez

Dr. Parvez is a pain management specialist at Total Pain Care in New Jersey. She is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as pain management. Dr. Parvez is also the pain management representative for the Strategic Planning Committee for Musculoskeletal Services at St. Michael’s Hospital in Newark, NJ.




Dr Peter DeNoble

Dr. DeNoble is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) and has added subspecialty qualification in surgery of the hand. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and a candidate member of The American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Seton Hall Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.


Dr. DeNoble takes pride in treating all of the conditions of the hand, elbow, and shoulder. He always prefers the simplest and most conservative treatments when possible, including physical therapy for conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, and rotator cuff tears. When necessary, Dr. DeNoble is highly skilled in the latest surgical techniques of the upper extremity, including endoscopic carpal tunnel release and arthroscopic surgeries of the wrist, elbow, and shoulder.





Dr Khashayar Shakiba

Dr. Khashayar Shakiba is the division director of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery for Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr Shakiba is Board Certified in "Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery". He is also a Board Certified Gynecologist and a Certified Robotic Surgeon.
He is committed to providing his patients with the best possible minimally invasive medical and surgical solutions for the treatment of complex pelvic organ pathologies.


Dr. Shakiba is dedicated to providing his patients with the most technologically advanced medical and surgical solutions to insure their well-being. This is the driving force that encouraged him to invent and
patent the “Electronic Pelvic Organ Prolapse Quantification system (E- POP Q system)” which is in the
final phases of clinical trials.




Dr Brian Jakubowicz

Brian M. Jakubowicz, MD, is a pain management specialist at Total Pain Care. Dr. Jakubowicz also serves as
Co-director of Interventional Pain Medicine and Program Director for the anesthesia residency – chronic pain medicine program as well as the Program Director for Emergency Medicine Acute and Chronic Pain Fellowship,

at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. After earning his medical degree from New York Medical College, he completed his anesthesia residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Jakubowicz completed his fellowship in pain management at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
He is board-certified in both anesthesiology and pain management.
